Shot 1: Gary robot holding rock - This was made to connect the demo reel to the tape cover. I modeled and textured the robot in 3D Studio Max. The textures were originally produced in Adobe Photoshop. The lighting and rock were created in Adobe Photoshop. The background was made in Adobe Photoshop and is a gradient that I painted lines and value changes on top of. This shot was placed here so the tape wouldn’t open abruptly with Jackson’s robot speaking his lines.

Shot 2: Matt and Adam jump to the window — I lit this scene and did the animation. The robot animation was done using bipeds in 3D Max.

Shot 3: Matt, Jackson, Adam, and Higgins — I lit this scene. I smoothed out problems and improved the animation of the three robots originally animated by other members of the team. I produced the scene from start to finish in which Higgins climbs up the wall and takes off to the other side of the room.

Shot 4: “Presenting the work of” title.

Shot 5: Gary walks into scene — I produced this entire animation using biped in 3D Max.

Shot 6: Blue Voltage — This character was modeled in 3D Max and textured in Maya. The texture of Blue Voltage was made using Adobe Photoshop. The wire frame is the model before it has a mesh smooth. The background was created in Adobe Illustrator and animated in Adobe After Effects.

Shot 7: “In the Year…” title.

Shot 8: Captain David Storm’s Adventures in Outer Space — This is the opening slate for the ink and paint project. It was hand drawn and inked. It was colored using Adobe Photoshop.

Shot 9: Lab on a distant planet pan shot — The pan scene was hand drawn and inked. It was colored in Adobe Photoshop. The background was animated in Adobe After Effects.

Shot 10: Walk to the Monster — This whole scene was hand drawn and inked. It was colored in Adobe Photoshop. The files were made into a sequence in After Effects and layered on top of the background. The background was made in Adobe Photoshop.

Shot 11: Preparing for attack — This scene was hand drawn and inked. It was colored in Adobe Photoshop. The files were made into a sequence in After Effects and layered on top of the background. The background was made in Adobe Photoshop.

Shot 12: Monster Attack - This scene was hand drawn and inked. It was colored in Adobe Photoshop. The files were made into a sequence in After Effects and layered on top of the background. The background was made in Adobe Photoshop.

Shot 13: Adam tells the other robots about the new plan — This scene was animated and finished in 3D Max.

Shot 14: Adam Medium Close Up Shot — This scene was animated and finished in 3D Max.

Shot 15: The Secret Lair: The environment was modeled, textured, and lit in Maya. The textures were made in Adobe Photoshop.

Shot 16: Higgins gets mad — This scene was animation and lit in 3D Max. I modeled the gun device in Higgins hands.

Shot 17: Higgins tackles Adam — I animated all animation and lit the scene in 3D Max. I modeled the Gary robot and textured him.

Shot 19: Gary at work — This scene was animated in 3D Max. The Gary robot was composited behind the counter using Adobe After Effects.

Shot 20: Jackson checking kitchen — This scene was animated using biped in 3D Max.

Shot 21: The robots come back from the window — This scene was animated and lit using 3D Max.

Shot 22: Adam turns light off — This scene was animated and lit using 3D Max.
